In an ordinary classroom 8-year-old Mirand Garcia is a classmate like no other!
She's a San Antonio Independent School District third grader with a weak immune system. But thanks to a new robotic pilot program she doesn't have to miss a day of class.
From a laptop at home she can see and talk to her teacher and classmates. She can even move the machine remotely.
Before this program her teacher would have to personally visit Miranda two to three times a week.
