Blanco, Burnet And Llano County 911 Phone Services Down

A bridge demolition affects 911 services in the hill county Sunday morning.

Burnet County Emergency Management Office confirms parts of Burnet, Blanco and Llano Counties are without emergency service due phone lines damaged after a bridge demolition by TxDOT.

Cell phones and land lines are out of service and Verizon estimates that some services will be restored late Sunday night.

All 911 calls are being routed to Burnet County Dispatch Center.

Officials say citizens should take precautions and check on neighbors that have been impacted by this outage.
